Brianna Stitz [About Me]
As a young child, art and design always spoke out to me through drawing, painting, projects, and more. I continued my passion throughout my middle and high school years, but started to focus my skills on learning online platforms to show my creativity. I am working through Adobe, Canva, Shopify, and WordPress to understand how to efficiently use this to the best of my ability and hopefully put that into use for a future career. I love to push myself and worked multiple jobs within the last four years while attending school to get where I am today.
I started working at an elementary daycare my junior year of high school, which continued through my whole sophomore year of college. While attending Des Moines Area Community College my first two years for my associate’s degree, I also picked up another job of waitressing at a Country Club. This made my schedule busy and sometimes hectic, but helped my time management skills and allowed me to grow my work ethic. Now, as I am in my senior year attending Iowa State University for my bachelor’s degree in Advertising, with a minor in Business, I have focused my time on my classes and working to learn more about how to advertise online. A club that I am apart of, the Cardinal & Gold (Advertising Agency), is helping me to pursue these goals. I will keep working hard to set myself up for a bright future!

Dear [Mr./Mrs./Ms.],
I am very interested in an internship with this company. I am a Junior at Iowa State University in the Greenlee School of Journalism pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Advertising with a minor in Business and Psychology.
Having worked several part-time jobs during my studies has taught me many skills that I feel are needed to make my future employment a success. Working in multiple internships that involve marketing and communications has given me the knowledge of being in a real-world setting. Such skills include communication, leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, and decision-making.
An internship/career would help grow my real-world experience in the advertising / marketing services industry and help to further develop and refine my design skills. My organizational skills, creativity, artistic skills and ability to work with others will make me an excellent addition to your team.
I would like the opportunity to meet with you to discuss any internship opportunities you might have. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Brianna C. Stitz
